Program
Day 1
Arrival to Marrakech, Meet and transfer to the hotel. Overnight hotel with breakfast.
Day 2
Drive towards the Imlil Valley, we meet our local team at the village of Aquersioul (1,600 m) where we start our climb. We hike through Matat village and then up to Tizi n'Oudite (2,200 m), where we stop to enjoy a picnic lunch. Descending through a juniper forest into the Azaden Valley, we then continue towards Id Aissa, enjoying the views out towards the colourful mountain villages of Tizi Zougaghen and Tizaine. Camp at Azib Tamsoult 2400m. 1h30 to drive, 6h30 hiking.
Day 3
Early in the Morning we zigzagging uphill to Aguelzim pass 3500m, Amazing views to the high Atlas mountains with narrow valleys and terraced fields. Afternoon walk down towards the base camp of Toubkal 3100m. Overnight in tent. 7h hiking.
Day 4
Today we head to the summit of Jebel Toubkal 4167m, it’s a very steep climb to a first pass 3975m, then a short walk on the ridge lead us to the top where we enjoy superb views. Back to the base camp for a second night. 6h hiking
Day 5
Easy down hills walk to the holly place Schamharouch: Then to Imlil where we end our trek. After lunch drive back to Marrakech. 4h hiking. 1h30 to drive. Overnight hotel in Marrakech.
Day 6
Transfer from hotel to airport. Departure. ( Or extend your trip )
